Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. The Easter Bunny will be early

Easter Sunday is April 8th! Is it early this year??? I guess the Easter Bunny better hurry up and make her goodies to share...After I checked out Sensational J's blog and saw her awesome altered can, I couldn't stop thinking about making one. Then, before I went to bed last night, I was flipping through my new CK mag and saw the cutest easter basket. Ding! The lightbulb went off and I ran to the kitchen to collect those empty cereal containers to create! Voila! Here's what I came up with:

I covered the container with the Petals & Paisley designer paper from SU and also used the stamp set Bunny Hugs...love that bunny! You all gotta let me know what you think...the only problem now is that I only have a total of 5 of these containers...haha! I don't think Nolan can eat tons of cereal before Easter! Oh well...I'm sure I'll find something else to decorate!
I'm so excited to have add another sister blogger on my blog...you gotta check out Jean's stamping spot and if you already haven't checked out Sensational J's (for Jen!) blog...this blog has a TON of action going on...swaps, online shopping, gallery...I'm so jealous! If scrapping is your thing, check out Cheryl's blog...Life is Sweet. The album she posted is just too cute. I actually saw it up close and personal today during our lunch date. Oh! BTW, stay posted for some fun pics we took at Ala Moana...Cheryl? waiting for the pics!

That Easter basket was too cute!!! I loved it and can't wait to get mine. I want to make one too but we don't eat cereal in our house. More like Poptarts for breakfast.
Have fun making more of them.

This is really cute, but I'm confused. I think I need a picture of the container with the cereal in it. Have I been away from the supermarket so long that I don't know what cereal comes in anymore? I am one of those lucky wives whose husband does a lot of grocery shopping.

Okay, so here is my can. But I don't like the way it looks...any suggestions? And by the way, I love the new look of your site Teri!
