Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. When you are done searching here, please head on over to my new blog and visit me there. Aloha, Teri

Wonderful weekend and another xmas project

I made it through the weekend! It was such a busy weekend with the Christmas craft fair at the Blaisdell Center. Funny that I see lots of people once a year at this fair, people that I don't usually get to see for one reason or another. It was nice to see the familiar faces! I got to meet Charlotte and saw Judie and Monique and lots of "aunties". Thanks ladies for stopping by! Here's a pic of cousin Jill and me working on Saturday night and a pic of Jill by some of the products. We sold out on almost everything!

Okay, here's another pic from my holiday packaging class. This is a pic of the origami box. I love this box! I saw this cool idea on Kristina Werner's blog called kwerner design blog. She has so many great ideas! If you're interested in making this cool box, Kristina also has a video you can watch as she makes this box. You can check out her video here. This is the link to her tutorials and you must scroll down to the origami box tutorial. The thing that caught my eye was that the ribbon covered the staple that holds the band and ribbon on the box top...you gotta watch the video here.
Here's my recipe: DS paper - Dashing, 5/8" old olive grosgrain ribbon, real red CS (12X12 for the box bottom and another strip for the band); vanilla CS, stamp set used was the level 2 hostess Perfect Presentation (to and from) and the candy cane came from the Hung Up on the Holidays stamp set; gold cord.
I am pooped so I'm signing off so I can feel decent for back to work Monday! Thanks for looking! {{hugs!}}

You amaze me, Teri, that after spending the weekend helping out at a craft fair you still found time to share an entry in your blog. Yes, Berry Sweet Bath & Body is going to be one of my favorite stores to visit now. Your origami box was elegant, especially with the ribbon, and her blog is one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing and get some rest!

You are a very busy lady!!! I am amazed at how you do so many things every week...I try to keep up but I don' think I'm too good at multi tasking...I am a woman though...I start projects and then I go to the next without finishing...Yikes! It looked like you had a good time...we tried to stop by, but never made it. maybe next time.
