April Class cards revealed!

Hi there! Remember me?? I got lost for the last 3 days in mommy duties and other stuff. But I'm back with the posting of the cards from my April class. Hey! Happy National Scrapbooking Day!
Anyway, thank you to all of you who attended my classes and also to those who purchased April class kits. It took me a while to do the mini tutorial on the pizza box, you all know that my tutorials are not at the professional level like some of the other blog ladies out there! Could we call it, Mickey Mouse?? ha! This first card was a card I first saw on Jan Tink's blog, check out that post here. I really liked it especially since I was looking for a graduation card. I didn't have any of the papers she used, so I decided to keep it simple and not use any DS papers. Instead, I came up with this:

The inside looks like this:

The right side of the card is a pocket perfect for a gift card or just good 'ol cash! Sorry, hard to see the pocket in this photo! For a mini tutorial on making this card, check out Patty's blog here. Both ladies have awesome blogs with fabulous projects and they sure inspire me!! Thank you Jan and Patty for letting me link you guys up here!
Supplies: Great Grads stamp set, blue grosgrain ribbon, silver Encore ink pad, marvy super jumbo circle punch and SU's 1 3/8" circle punch.
Here are the five cards that we put into our mini pizza box. The box will come in the next post with a mini tutorial, non-professional version :) Sorry that the pics on some of these cards is terrible, the lighting is off. But it's one of my favorite cards. For this class, I featured the DS paper called Afternoon Tea. I just love that paper!! All of the cards were given the dimensional treatment. I'm into popping embellishments up now days!

All five cards were 3X3 in size and the kits included envelopes too! Busy weekend ahead. This morning we went to a soccer game in out in Waipio. We won 4-2! It was very windy and cool out there. Then, I went to a Sizzix make & take at J's and we made this really cute scrapbook with acetate covers. I'll have to post it tomorrow since the pics are still in my camera :)
Tonight, we went to McKinley High School to attend Nolan's Honor Band concert. It sounded so good! We just got back from dinner and I thought I'd better post something before you guys check my blog and see my post on Merci cards, again. I am feeling sooooo tired. It was such a long day. I hope to jump back on the computer tomorrow morning so I can post the pizza box pic and instructions and our cute make 'n take project. Thanks for reading and sharing a bit of your day with me!!
NOTE: Most of my blogaversary goodies have been sent. Also some goodies went out to some of my blog idols...
Sorry, one more thing...I bought 6 new Dandelion Design stamps today!! Love all of them! Can't wait to make something and post. BTW, they are on sale at Ben Franklin stores til next Friday. They are 2 for $7.00!
