Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. When you are done searching here, please head on over to my new blog and visit me there. Aloha, Teri

Many ways to say "Thank Ewe!"

When Dad was in the hospital, he had a few visitors other than the family visit him (Thank you to you who visited!) Well, of course, by default, I guess, I got elected to make the thank you cards and write them too (hey cheryl, want to write one?? nah, just kidding!) .
I used the cute lamb image with the phrase "Thank Ewe" on it from the Pun Fun stamp set. It's not a real "manly" image, but it's okay, it passed the Dad inpection and he loved the way they turned out! I made 8 cards total, and all had the same lamb image but I used different DP for each card. Here are two of the cards I made. I must say, for cards that were kind of "slapped together" (meaning put together real quick), they came out pretty good and I was able to use more paper from my endless paper stash! I stamped all images using a marvy ink pad because I wanted to use my copic markers to color the images. Coloring was minimal so it was quick to do all 8 images in a few minutes.
Both DS papers for this card came from the prints sampler pack. Remember that?? At that time, SU ran a promotion where we were able to purchase these 6X6 size pads - I still have a good amount of paper left!
This DS paper came from the Friends and Flowers scrapbook kit which was available as a hostess level 1 selection. Remember that? The vanilla strip with chocolate dots was from the Au Chocolat paper that was featured in the Spring mini 2007 catty. I just love these 2-sided papers!

Well, it's finally Aloha Friday! Another busy weekend. Cousin Pam and her family are here for a visit, can't wait to see them all! Hope I can catch some good photos! Nolan is so excited to see his cousin Matt.

I know you are all ready for the weekend!! Have fun!

Your dad is very fortunate to have a great and creative daughter like you to make the "thank you" cards for the people that came to visit him.
