Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! Card for Cheryl

I'm still having fun making these double shaker boxes and with each one I make, I'm getting better. I'm really practicing so I'll be ready to teach interested peeps how to make one sometime in the latter part of May. Anyway, I am making a bunch of these for a few raks that I have been meaning to finish. I made this shaker card for Cheryl. I am especially excited to share this one because I just bought some new Copic markers from Hawaiian Graphics last week (Thanks Joy for driving us!) Joy and I went there during our lunch break when I found out that the new shipment arrived! Their shelves are pretty loaded now which is good. The junk thing is that they raised their prices to $6.25 per sketch pen! Yikes! But, if you have a credit back card and spend $25.00 or more, they give you a discount (20% or 25%?) Oh! the reason why I'm excited about getting coloring this Gorjuss Girls image is because my sweet GF, Jodi, shared with me some tips when coloring black hair! Jodi! it worked!! I just loved the way the hair came out - not bad for a first timer, huh!! Here's my card Here's another view
I filled the first box with pink micro beads that I bought from Cute Stuff and the second box, I used dew drops!
I was able to drop this off at J's today after they were done with their make & take. It was funny because my husband asked me if there was anyone in the store that I didn't know! haha! I guess he didn't know that we crafters make friends with everyone! Anyway, here are the supplies used for this shaker:
Image: Gorjuss Girls, Friends Forever (SU)
Copic pens for all coloring
DSP - Pebbles
Cardstock: chocolate chip, close to cocoa
Accessories: Sizzlits decorative scallop strip, micro beads, dew drops, rhinestone, large and scallop oval punches (SU), ribbon (SU), acetate
Finally, I just wanted to share a pic of my son at the Kirk Banks Tournament this year. His position is Keeper. He actually got hurt when he took a dive to save the ball shortly after I took this picture. He had to go to the ER because he couldn't walk. It turned out to be a major muscle strain in the back, but he got some meds and is all good now. He played really well at today's game, and they won 2 to 0!
Thanks for taking time out to visit my blog today. I will be scheduling a post for Sunday because I will be off of the computer. Busy day finishing up those wedding favors! Did I say that the last time? I've been a bad girl (wink!)
