Double Shaker for the Queen of shakers

Boy, when it rains, it pours! All of the busy-ness is beating me up! I wanted to post something before my class today, just so you know that I am still around, but with a full plate!! For those of you who follow my blog or are regulars, might know that my GF Joy is the Queen of shaker cards, projects, etc. So, I had to do one better than her - ha! Just kidding Joy...you know I wanted to make this special shaker just for YOU! I had the hardest time finding some purple papers and matching items because I know that purple is Joy's favorite color...for some reason, the color purple is kind of scarce in my supply - as you know my favorite color is pink!!
Anyway, when I made this for Joy, she was along side of me taking the photos because I have a detailed tutorial coming up real soon for you on how you can create one of these cool shakers too!! This turned out to be a framed piece and not a card, so I propped it up using a easel in the back. Note: This idea totally is NOT my creation...I learned this really cool technique from Lianne Higa, the owner of Cute Stuff...Thank you Lianne for teaching me how. It's been years since I learned how to make this, but I haven't forgotten!
Supplies:
Stamps: Gorjuss Girls image (shared by Jodi), With Joy (SU)
Paper: DSP - Making Memories, Bazzill
Accessories: Flowers by Hero Arts, Beads from Cute Stuff, scallop oval punch (SU), eyelet border punch (SU), Rhinestone (from Ben Franklin), Image colored using copic pens
Stay tuned for more on this tutorial...it takes alot of time to upload and write up the tutorial, so please bear with me. I'm still whittling away on all of the projects I am doing including 100 matchbox wedding favors, Easter goodies (only 1 week away!) and going to my real job!! haha! I can only laugh, or else, I'll just sit and cry! Boo-hoo-hoo!! I'm insane already! Anyway, I'll stop here because I have to set up for my class...Have a great Sunday everyone! It's a beautiful day on the Windward side of the island!!

Love this shaker, and can't wait for the tutorial. Are the beads BEHIND the image, instead of in front? That's what it looks like. Clever! Great class today, as always. You come up with such wonderful ideas. I look forward to your class every month. You never let me down. Thanks, Teri.
