Summer Social - Project #2

A quick post tonight. I can't believe that every night, I run out of time to do a really good post, but I thought I'd better share the second card that we made at the island girl's gathering. I wanted to make this tri-shutter card because it's so cute and easy to make! I also fell in love with this cute manga panda by Quickutz! This panda was also easy to make! I used my oval nesties in back of the panda using kiwi kiss cardstock. Here's what the rest of the card looked like. I know, I know...look at all of the small animals! They are all quickutz too! Thanks to Wini who cut out all of the animals except the eyes and little details. They weren't that difficult to make if you're not rushing. I initially thought that it would be okay to make these animals because I figured we had all day to do these projects. I guess the ladies were all so excited to meet each other and talk that some felt rushed. Sorry! Next time, easier projects!
BTW, all paper (except the oval) I got from Fisher Hawaii (Cooke Street store). The solid cardstock is by Worldwin and the printed paper (except the front panel) is by Kodomo. If anyone is interested in purchasing these dies, I actually have them to sell. I have a bunch of the Pandas, the Leopard and the Squirrel left, and I think 1 fox. Please send me an email if you are interested and would like to purchase them. I will be returning them to the store next week sometime.
Thanks for visiting and for your sweet comments. They really make my day and I look forward to reading each one!
For the island girls - the Made In Hawaii show is this weekend starting on Friday at 10:00 AM. I will be working at the show for Berry Sweet Bath & Body. Carri has done it again with more awesome products!! Hope to see some of you there. Please stop by and say hello to me and if I give you a "I don't remember who you are look", please introduce yourself!

I love this card and girl, I will need directions as to how to cut the middle part. You know me, I didn't get a chance to do any projects...all my fault of course! Anyhow, can you send me the measurements as to where I should score and cut? Thanks girlie!

BTW, I will be going to the Made in Hawaii show but I'll be there Sat morning, will you be there?

This card is way too cute! I love the panda on the cover (and all the little ones on the inside of the tri-shutter card). I still have yet to make my first tri-shutter card, but it looks time consuming so I'll need to make the time one day. You truly inspire me... especially with the panda. I think I'll try making one with punches! Thanks for the great ideas!

This tri shutter card is just the CUTEST IRL! You did such an awesome job with the layout. Yes, thank you Wini for cutting out all the animals ... you are so sweet and kind to help Teri!

I'm still recuperating from all that FUN, but I had such a great time socializing!! Thanks again for organizing this event.

Huggies,
Kyoko

I goofed on my card. I glued "Po" upside down. Oh well, as long as I don't send it to anyone, it's all good! Thanks for the great time!

Hi Teri! Thank you so much for planning and preparing for these 3 make 'n take projects. That was alot of hard work (thank you Wini also!) to put together all the pieces for 35 gals (yikes!). I had a nice time yakking and socializing I only finished two projects LOL! Thank you for posting the pics so I can complete my third project. Hugs, Cami
