Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. Sweet Pea Birthday

I'm needing to make tons of birthday cards and thank you cards. I'm just so way behind in everything that I don't know how I'm going to get them all done! Ever had those mile long "to do" lists?? Well, after such a busy, busy Saturday, I forced myself (I really did!) to create a birthday card so I would have something to share with you all today. I know, I know, I hear my BFF's telling me that I'm mento (crazy) for forcing myself to create. Actually, I thought it was going to get me to relaxed and unwind, but it didn't really. Ho hum...anyway, here is the card I made. I loved how it turned out though. I love these new felt flowers and components. This item is called Sweet Pea Stitched Felt (#117266) and is in the Occasions mini catalog (expires on April 30). There are so many pieces to create your own bloom. Here's my Sweet Pea Bloom... Other products I used
Cardstock: chocolate chip, whisper white, regal rose
Accessories: Pinking hearts border, modern label punch, Perfect polka dots embossing folder, soft suede dotted grosgrain ribbon.
The card is really a simple one, but I love the sweetness the felt flowers brought to the card.
Here's a close up of the bloom...
Oh yeah, here's the inside...love to layer, somehow, it adds to the card don't you think?!
The sentiment on the outside and inside of the card came from a set called A Little Birthday Cheer (#120242) and you can get this set for FREE with a $50 order during the sale-a-bration promotion. This awesome sale ends on March 31st, so if you were thinking of getting in on some freebies, order now before the promotion is over! You can order online through my SU website (located on the side column) and the best part is that you can order 24/7!
Thanks for the visit today. Hope you all have a relaxing Sunday...that's what I'm wishing for!
