Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. When you are done searching here, please head on over to my new blog and visit me there. Aloha, Teri

Busy Craft show weekend and another giftcard holder

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year, Eric cooked the turkey AND the pies! He found this recipe online for pumpkin pie with eggnogg in it - oh yummy! Well, the 2007 holiday season has officially begun! I can't believe another year has zipped by and I'm helping Carri and Eric again at the 3-day craft fair at the Blaisdell Center. Carri and Eric are the owners of Berry Sweet Bath & Body. For you local gals, if you've never visited Berry Sweet's store, they are located between 9th and 10th Avenue in Kaimuki and right across from Harry's Music Store. To catch some of the updates, you can check out their website under live journal. When time permits, Carri gives you the heads up on her new products. Of course, for the past two months, it's been an adjustment period for Carri & Eric as they welcomed their first precious bundle, Kira, in September. Anyway, back to the products! My favorite product? The body Souffle! This is a wonderful whipped lotion that I use after my shower every night - love it!! If you were planning to check out the show, don't forget to stop by to say hello!
Here's another gift card holder that was made at my last class. This card is so easy to make. I used the DS paper Dashing, real red and old olive CS, 5/8" old olive grosgrain ribbon, word window punch, stamp from the set Polka dots and paisley, horizontal slot punch and mega oval scallop punch and super jumbo oval punch by marvy. I'm trying to see if I can work up a couple of tutorials so you can see how easy these are to make! Not happening this weekend though - I'm getting ready to leave for the show. I'll try to bring my camera today to take some pics. If you are doing holiday shopping this weekend, hope you were able to get some of those awesome deals that were advertised! Have a great Saturday!

What a great idea! I hadn't thought to use the Word Window punch to make a slot for the gift card! Thanks for the inspiration!
