Special Sweet Treats for you!

Finally! It's that time to give away some sweet treats! Before I go on, I would just like to say THANK YOU to all of my faithful readers and to those of you who have braved making comments on my posts, I love it! When I first started my venture in this new blog world, boy, I needed all the help possible! With the help of the web genius, Jen, I'm getting a little bit better in my posting and even taking a chance on trying new things out. I still need to get expert advice from Jen, but I must say, I'm getting the hang of it!
I really didn't think I'd reach the 10,000 mark with posts before my one year anniversary, so without further delay, here's what I'm giving away to celebrate!!
The first treat is this cute mini scrapbook that I've already decorated for you! I used the stamp set called Time Well Spent. It's a level 3 set that we received from Stampin' Up! Love that set! Well, this mini scrapbook, although it is not a SU product, is so cute you could easily create one using some DS paper. I've taken photos of the inside of the book where you see on the left are 3 pages that you can remove from the pocket. I stamped words from the new Celebrate You set. The second "treat" is a clear stamp set called Borders & Corners (Circles) from Papertrey (papertreyink.com). I love the creations by Nichole Heady. Her blog is called Capture the Moment and you can view it here . What do you think of these treats??

To enter to win these sweet treats, if you haven't already signed my guest book, please do! If you're already a guest, thanks! Then, leave me a comment on what made your 2007 holidays special. I will select a winner on Monday, January 14th. I can't wait to hear YOUR holiday story! Don't be shy, I would love to hear from all of you!

Having my parents live just two blocks away made it incredible. They have now lived near me for an entire year and I can't imagine it any other way.

Just signed your guest book, great blog...I'll be back often. Our holidays were so nice because we tried to make them stress free. We only made the cookies we each like most, didn't rush anything and took time to relax.

Count me in on this sweet treat! I love handmade things and your album is awesome. Our holiday was very nice and stress free. Since our daughters are older we made it simple and fun. We are getting back to what Christmas is all about. Thanks for a chance.

Love these sweet treats! We had a lovely holiday season '07 because we didn't have to travel and ds was thrilled about Santa visiting. Also, my in-laws were here, so it made it nice to share all the excitement.
Thanks for the chance!

Wow, Teri, you're on a roll, and your blog header and scrapbook is so attractive. Love Papertrey stamps too! I too tried to make the holidays less stressfree by cutting back and simplified by having gifts wrapped early and started to organize my craft items so I can find things...we're trying to get a friend involved in crafting and will share our "stuff" with her. My daughters are not into stamping but liked the labels I made for their baked goods they shared with friends ... maybe one day they will.

Wow..you have a very nice blog! Cute creations !

Our holiday was "special". My daughter came home from school the Friday before Christmas and wasn't feeling good..within a few hours, she was vomiting violently! First her, then by Sat. evening , my son had it, then Sunday evening me and my husband! All feeling like ick...but during this whole time, my kids never missed a single practice for their church play! Which was 4 different times during that weekend. My son wasn't going to go to church on Christmas Eve, he was still feeling so bad..but then he said... I gotta go Mom, they don't have anyone to replace me! A very proud moment for this Mother! Poor kid went and came home, started to vomit again!

Then we all made it to the Grandparents house the next day, fortunately, they live only a mile away! Spent a lovely day with all the family....that is what makes Christmas so special..family.

I just signed the guest book and am now thinking I need one for my blog too! :)

My holidays were special because of the simpleness of our activities. I was really prepared this year and quite honestly let go of my expectations of the "perfect" Christmas. It made it so much more enjoyable!

Many Blessings,
Melissa

Hi Teri, This is wonderful blog candy! Thanks for the chance to win. I've signed your guest book!

My holidays were really special this year because it was the first Christmas that my oldest son really understood what was going on (he's three). It was so wonderful on Christmas morning for us to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and then hand out presents. He was so excited to get presents (and surprisingly, he wanted to make sure everyone else had presents too). It's exciting that both our boys are growing up so much. It was also special to be able to spend some time with my mom at her house. She lives in another province, so I don't see her very often.

What made my holidays special is to see my friends and family come together to help donate to the Crohn's and Colits Foundation. I am going to donate a minimum of $1000 to the CCFA this year and I have already vowed to stop spending money on craft supplies just to reach my goal. Anyways, my family and friends really showed their support and I couldn't be more proud!!
Thanks!

Our Christmas was very special because we had a new baby in the family, first one in past 7 years.
I love the sweet treats.

I'm liking your blog....just found it today, but will be marking it as a 'favorite' and then signing your guest book. Our holiday season was special because the family got to hang out together for a whole week (no school and no work). We all did what we wanted....lounged (I stamped), watched movies, cleaned (a little), and just had fun! Thanks for the chance for some blog bling!

Okay I have signed in your guestbook and posted a picture...please don't hold it (the picture) against me....LOL My Christmas holiday was very special because I got to spend it with all four of my children, a first in about 10 years, and we have a brand new (first and only) granddaughter that made the holiday extra special! :) Thanks for the chance!

A big WOW for these sweet treats. My holidays were special this year because my 15 year old niece came to stay with me from the Friday before Xmas until Christmas Eve. We had a great time baking cookies, last minute shopping, and I got her to wrap all the presents we bought. Some much needed bonding was done. I just love her to pieces.

I personally am just glad the holidays are over and that spring is right around the corner (aw-who am I kidding anyways-this is Michigan so the niceness wont come til June anyways)

Our annual family Christmas gathering was held at the St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse this year. I thought of following your lead for the socks but since our party was on the 23rd, in lieu of grab bags we asked for donations which were turned in to the Advertiser's Good Neighbor Fund in memory of our late grandparents.

We had a blast enjoying the 15 great-great-great grandchildren of our immigrant grandparents. :D

Congrats on your hits!

Hi Teri! We had a nice Christmas...the kids were so giddy and absolutely drunk in every Christmas ritual. It was nice justing having Daddy home for two weeks so the kids could play and we could all rest!

Our bad news at Christmas time actually turned into good news. The bad news was that my husband was laid off work 3 weeks prior to Christmas. The good news was he got another job within a couple days, and didn't have to start until Jan. 4. So it was wonderful having him home throughout the holiday:) He even helped me bake all of our Christmas cookies.

What a great giveaway! Love that set and since I'm not a demo, I don't have it.
What made our holidays special was being at home for them. We have not been home for Christmas these past 3 years, so this was actually the first time our little ds could spend it at home. It was so exciting to watch my dd get up Christmas morning all excited to open up the big present under the tree. We had to go wake up the rest of the family.

My favorite part of the holidays this year was having my DDs decorate the tree all by themselves this year. It was so cute watching them discuss which ornaments were going to go where!

Having my mom and dad here for Christmas was really special. They live in Manitoba and I live in Alberta so it's nice when they come. Mom gave me a wonderful magnetic spice rack for Christmas that I'm suppose to use in my craft room, but I think I'll be using it for spices. It's so nice and handy.

Hi! Love your blog! the thing that made my 2007 holiday so special was having my family around me. We lost a few members of the family this year so we all had a little extra love and commpassion in our hearts this year. We also did our favorite tradition.. After Christmas day dinner we read outloud the funny newsletters we et from friends and family far away.. It is always good for a few laughs and laughter was much needed this year!
Happy New Year! May it be one of the best yet!

My holidays were special because they were calm and quiet this year - no fights or problems. My brother and his wife flew in, and we had a great time relaxing and playing board games with them and my parents. Thanks for offering the candy! :)

I love the candy! I think what made it so special this year is that my daughter really enjoyed "Santa" this year. She is 2 1/2 and it was such a magical year!

WOWZA girlie !!! Great treats !!!
We probably had our best holiday ever this year !!! It wasn't because of expensive gift giving or receiving (because we don't do that) but we just really had an especially wonderful time with our family. Christmas on Kevin's side of the family was wonderful, Christmas morning with our kids was fabulous, Christmas with my side of the family was big and loud and fantastic and we all the kids were home for New Year's Eve for pizza, movies and games !! It was just the best time ever...and you can't buy that...ever.

Love ya kiddo
Corinne

Wow, I love the circles and borders. My Christmas was a very special day. My 84 year old father and my two sisters made the trip to my house. It was so wonderful to have the family together. I gave them talking animal hats as a joke. We laughed forever as they put them on.Wish I could post pictures as they are so funny.
