Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. When you are done searching here, please head on over to my new blog and visit me there. Aloha, Teri

Today is the day!

Happy Monday! Today is the day that we can start placing orders from the brand new Fall/Winter Idea Book & Catalog!! I'm still waiting for catalogs to come in from SU - it's really hard for the demonstrators when your cattys don't arrive early and there's nothing that SU can do about it because their catalogs are not printed and sent from their plant. Hang in there if you've got a pre-order catalog order with me! I will contact you as soon as I get my hands on them!! I believe the catalog will also be online so you can check it out at http://www.stampinup.com/ . Everyone will be ordering that scallop edge punch, so just a hint to you all - order early if you want to get your hands on that new punch!!

If you did not pre-order a catalog from me but would now like one, send me an email!

On to my card! I created my card using the already famous Sock Monkey. I know I've used this little guy before, but I just love this monkey! There is an accessory set for this monkey in the new catalog! I can't wait to get my accessory set! Also used the new designer paper Bella Rose. All of the DSP's are 2-sided. You can see the other side of this beautiful paper at the bottom corner where I turned it up and fastened with a mini brad. I used the new in color - Riding Hood Red ink refill and blender pens to color the hands, feet, mouth, head and bottom. Copic pen to color the brown (sorry, I forgot what number I used!!).

Supplies used:

Bella Rose designer paper

Old olive textured ribbon

Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss (both NEW in colors!)

Photo corner punch

Silver mini brads

Short work week for some of us in Hawaii! Friday is Statehood Day and it is a State holiday!! I'll be working all weekend at the Made in Hawaii show at the Blaisdell Center for my GF Carri who owns Berry Sweet Bath & Body. If you are planning to attend, be sure you drop by and say Hello to me!! We will be in booths 380 & 381...lots of new products and a bunch of new fragrances!!

Have a wonderful Monday! Be sure to come back tomorrow to check out Little C's Weekly Challenge #4 - brand new sketch and lots of ideas to inspire you!

I love the Sock Monkey. Besides getting the new punches, he will definitely be part of my first order. The Sock Monkey will look great with the coordinaing Sock Monkey DSP that I recently purchased.
Lucky every one is Hawaii gets Friday off from work. Have fun on your day off.
What a great friend you are to help your friend Carri out at her booth at the show on Sat.

Looks like that designer paper will be very popular - matches the new in color very well.

Not quite sure how I feel about the sock monkey, but you've made a beautiful card with him. I especially like how you folded up the one corner to see the other side of the ds paper. Very clever!
