Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. Here's the rest of the story...

Actually, I was just being corny, but here are the rest of the tags. This one is also one of my favorite tags and it is an easy, peasy tag...honest! I cased the concept of this tag from Julie Buhler. Julie's blog is full of awesome projects, so hop on over and check it out here! Thanks Julie for the inspiration! Supplies for this tag - Riding hood red and kiwi kiss CS. The square is cut at 2 3/4" X 2 3/4". Take the scallop edge punch and center it on one of the edges. Continue to punch the remaining edges and that is it! I embellished this with the image from Punches Three - a level 1 hostess set and punched out with my square scallop punch (a new SU punch!). Added two tiny rhinestones to dress it up and finishing it off with silver cord. This was the most simple tag, I gotta admit, not one of my favorites, but I think at this point, I was getting tired of creating tags and this is what I came up with. This image came from the set called Holiday Trinkets. Stamped in Kiwi Kiss and embellished with dots of red stickles. Punched with the 1 3/4" circle punch and gold stickles around the edges. Merry Christmas is an image from the Season of Joy set. Finished off with red hemp cord.

I bought this set called Christmas Classics just for this stamp...It took me a couple of tries to get it just the way I wanted it to look like. I knew that I wanted to add a real jingle bell to the tag but when I attached it, the bell stuck out and it looked really odd, so back to the drawing board! I punched a hole using the 1/2" circle punch but after I layered it with the red and green, the punch couldn't reach that far in. I had to use the 3/4" circle for the red & green layers but it was okay since you couldn't see it from the front. The jingle bell was attached using linen thread and taping it to the back side of the vanilla CS. Don't you like the scallop edge look? I love this punch!
Got this idea from a card that Kelly brought back from convention. Both images are from hostess sets. The reindeer is from Deer Friends and the snowflake is from Holiday Happenings. In this photo, I used one of those dew drops on it, but later changed it to using a red rhinestone - a little more shiny!
This next tag is almost identical to the reindeer tag using another image from the Deer Friends set.

Here is what my set up looked like in my garage...

Your tag class I am sure was lots of fun. All your hard work paid off. I love all the tags that you came up with.

One of the cards that you have displayed with the purse made with one of the SU punches is my favorite. :)

Aloha,

Ok, forgive me for asking, but I still don't get how you made the first tag leaving that empty space between the square and the scallop.

Could you explain it to me in more detail? please....

Mahalo,
