Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. PINK!

Aloha! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and it's time for us to show our support! I have added a couple of links to these images on my sidebar which will take you to the Susan Komen for the Cure sites...and also for helping women get free mammograms. It is so important that we take care of ourselves now! Don't wait to get your check up!
Click on this button on the sidebar to help someone get a free mammogram!
I'm planning on ordering one of these shirts to show my support. There are many designs offered, so click on this image on my sidebar to link you to where you can buy your t-shirt to show YOUR support!
Since I'm always so short on time, I won't have time to make cards like I did last year to raise funds for BCA, so to show my support this year, I will be giving away a cool pink tote bag and ribbon key ring to support Breast Cancer Awareness that I picked up at Macy's (Thanks Alice for getting it for me!) Wanna win it? Leave me a comment to this post telling me what you will be doing to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

(the prize does not include this ducky). I can't wait to hear how you all are showing your support! I will select the lucky winner on Saturday, October 18th!

I LOVE that bag. To show my support, I donate money on a regular basis, I also do the one at the grocery store, just this past week, I did a $5 at the checkout at Safeway. I purchase "pink" things that support breast cancer foundation during the month of Oct., of course pink is my favorite color, so yes I buy a lot, to support BC, also to have my pink!!! I also do my yearly mammogram in the month of Oct, in fact I just got it done this past week. I am a big supporter, because I have a sis-in-law & Aunt w/ breast cancer. My daughter even donate's for the Susan Komen foundation.(of course it comes from mom's check book) hahaha

Hi Teri!!

I'm a breast cancer awareness supporter too. My Aunty just passed from this disease and my Mom and Grandma are both Breast Cancer Survivors. I'm creating cards like this one:

and 20% of the proceeds will go to my Aunty's Memorial Fund. The funds will be raised for more breast cancer equipment for our hostpital, support, etc. TTYL! =)

Hey Terri,
I love what you are doing here in support of breast cancer. Every little bit helps and hopefully there will be a cure!
I support this wonderful cause by donating money and buying pink items that help the cause.
Great candy here and thank you for the chance!

Hi Teri!
Whoever wins the cute bag from Macy's will be very lucky. I love the color of the bag and the giant flower on it.

I don't usually do much to support breast cancer awareness, but after seeing the cute bag that you got from Macy's I wanted to go hunt down a bag for myself assuming that what I pay for the bag would go to support BCA.

After seeing the bag on your blog, a good friend told me that she has an extra bag that she got from Macy's and is willing to give it to me. I was thrilled when she told me that. Even though she will be giving me a bag, if I get the chance I am still going to purchase one for myself. If the local Macy's do not carry the same bag then I will probably purchase whatever it carries to support BCA.

Wow, that is so awesome & generous of you!

I changed my email signature line to include the link for the website to click on for free mamograms since during the month of October, each click counts double! And, of course, I get a daily reminder to click, which I do everyday.

I'm also scheduled for my yearly obgyn appt on Monday,October 20th, which he'll schedule me for the yearly mamogram.

Thanks again!

HBF!

I've been purchasing Pink items to help the cause and I also plan on making a few cards. One in particular to my husband's grandma who is a survivor.
