Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. When you are done searching here, please head on over to my new blog and visit me there. Aloha, Teri

Two more projects!

Here are two more projects that we did at the gift card holder class. This project is not a gift card holder, but I wanted to use the Sizzix XL Pennant die. I just love the way the small pennants make up the criss cross in the front of this cute card.

Don't you love the sentiment? This stamp and the snowflake is from a stamp set called Holiday Collection and you can order this set for a limited time only for $21.95. If you would like to own this elegant Holiday Collection, you can order online on my website www.alohagirl.stampinup.net It's fast and easy!
I wanted to create a non-traditional holiday color and here is one of my favorite color combos - pink and brown. This stamp set is called Snow Swirled and I have to admit that although I like it, I didn't LOVE it until I was trying to figure out the last project for the class. Now I really do love this stamp set, don't you? I created a band to hold the card closed. This is a tri-fold card and you can easily create this by using your scor-pal because there are markings already on the scor-pal to guide you. All you have to do is follow the upside down triangles to score on and there you will have your tri-fold card!

Here's what the inside looks like. I used a glassine envelope to hold the giftcard or money, but another option would be to use the cute little envelope sizzix die because it fits perfect!

Sorry for not posting all of the supplies I used...if you are interested in getting a complete supply list for my gift card holder projects, send me an email requesting it and I will send it right over.
Had a long day today as Nolan is sick and I had to take him to the doctor after I dashed into work for a bit to make sure that I didn't have anything crucial to do by today. Taking care of a sick child, even at age 13, is draining. Thanks for your understanding :)
I will be posting the last of the projects hopefully tomorrow. Glad the weekend is almost here!

Each giftcard holder that you post gets better and better. You know me I of course like the pink and brown trifold one the best since that is my favorite color combo too. It's so cool how it opens up. What an awesome idea.

Sorry that No;ann is sick. Hope he feels better very soon.
