August Class - A Box of Animals!

I thought I would post my August class today since the ladies who purchased kits might want to know how the cards look like!
Another sold out class! I'm so happy that we were able to make this fun project! Hey Joy, it's not too bad the second time around making this box! We struggled the first time we made it, but it's really not too bad!
Here is the finished project. This original idea came from a SU demonstrator by the name of Becky Roberts. We followed some of the basic instructions from her Valentine's Box project. I added the belly band to hold the box closed and used marvy punches for the top. We altered the insert for the inside of the box as well. We used the Tall Tales DSP and the cute animals from the Animal Stories stamp set. Sentiment "for you" is from the Great Friend stamp set. (Love the acetate window on the cover of this box). We made three cards to go inside of the box. One of my favorite animal sets is the sock monkey. I was searching for animal stamps to use since the Animal Stories set only had 4 animals and we had used some of them last month too. We used the scallop edge punch and the top note die on this card.
This card is similar to the card I made and posted earlier. Just a different version.
Isn't the whale cute? I love the matching paper too!
We also made 5 tags to go in the box. I included gold cord for the tags too. This tag is a sizzix die and I got it from J's. A new shipment of these should be in any day now so if you want one of these dies, you can call and reserve yours today! I can't believe that I almost didn't buy this die. Thanks Joy for buying it and making me feel guilty that I didn't have it in my stack of stuff to buy!
Thanks for your visit today. I've been so happy receiving emails and making new friends. You guys make me so happy to know that you enjoy what I make and post. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! See you again tomorrow. I will have more birthday raks to share...these cards are so beautiful, I have to share them with you!
