Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. Simple noteholder I made for raks

Remember this cute noteholder I made for the gals that went to Denise's house a couple of weeks ago? I wanted to share with you how easy it was to make! Here's the finished noteholder, it holds 3X3 cards and envelopes. You will need a piece of cardstock cut to 4 1/4" X 11". Score at 5" and 6".
I made a acetate pocket to hold the cards. This is what the pocket looks like, but for tutorial purposes and ease on your eyes, I used kraft cardstock to demonstrate. Actually, kraft cardstock worked real nice for these pockets too!
The acetate is cut at 5"X5 1/2". I scored 1" on the sides as shown. (note: I usually make a template and mark it up for reference so I don't make a mistake!)
I scored at 2" and 3" as shown below.
Cut on the lines as shown by the arrows.
Fold in the sides and adhere to form pocket. Adhere acetate pocket to inside of one of the sides.
Using the large oval punch, punch through both layers of cardstock to form handles.
Here are the cards I made to put inside of the holder.
Love this elephant. He's from the level 1 hostess set called Out of the Box.

All DSP is SU scraps! Perfect for these cute little cards. I also made 3 tags to go in the pocket too! This is the Super Giga (green) punch. Got this at Fisher Hawaii. It was so easy to punch and a good size too!
A view of the cards in the holder.
A side view of the finished holder ready to give!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial on another noteholder. I hope you give it a try, it's so easy!! The last of the birthday cards tomorrow!
