Something Sweet for You
It's been a while since I last gave up some blog candy, so thought it was a great time for me to offer up something sweet to thank you all for your love and support. I love celebrating birthdays! Bought this fun set from my GF Jean who is a Close to My Heart Consultant. I bought this set and then stashed it away and only found it while I was major reorganizing! I decided to give this up to some lucky person.

My favourite birthday cake was the one I had last year. It was MASSIVE and so so nice!!! I think it was cream and jam in the middle, covered with icing and my name was on top!

My favorite bday cake is the 2 that my mom makes from scratch, which both receipes require 1 dz eggs, but it is so worth it. We call the pink cake the birthday cake, everything is from scratch including the frosting. The other one is the duppleshortn (sp?) which is seven layers with homemade chocolate frosting in between each layer. Because of the work involved she never makes either cake unless it's your birthday, which makes them extra special, kwim?

My favorite store-bought came is the Peach Bavarian from Zippys followed by the Rainbow cake.
My favorite birthday cake that I love is Chocolate Mousse & there's a bakery here that makes the best...yummmmmmmm!!!

The only thing is that some bakeries do not know how much milk to add to them.. Sometimes it's drenched.. :(

Mmmm...I love peaches, I don't think I've ever had peach cake, sounds delish! I love so many different cakes, but my most fav probably is by a friend, just plain vanilla with buttercream frosting. Now I'm hungry! ;) Fun set, thanks for the chance to win it.
