Hi There! This blog will no longer have any new post or activities. Please click here to go to my NEW blog, as I've depleted all the memory on this one. I hope to see you there! I will, however, continue to keep this blog up, as there are tons of ideas and tutorials that you may want to search through. Peace on Earth
Can you believe that today is December 1st?? Hope your week is off to a good start! It's Tuesday already! Today, I wanted to share with you some info on a new paper that will be in stores soon. It's by 3M (makers of the Post-It Brand) and it's their craft paper. It's a 8 1/2 X 12 fully adhesive sheet and is endorsed by Cricut! Oooh, very cool. Now for my card, I didn't use my cricut but I did use an embossing folder (on the red paper). And because this paper is white core, I lightly sanded it to bring out the distressed look...can you see it? I adhered the green adhesive paper (4 1/4"X 5 1/2") on my whisper white cardstock. Then I added the embossed and sanded red adhesive paper on top of the green. The image is a new one by Stampendous that I picked up on one of my frivolous shopping sprees at FH (same time I bought those cute QK dies - naughty girl!) ... The image is layered on old olive CS and a leftover piece of DSP. I used my ticket punch on the corners and added some bling in each corner. Ribbon is also by SU.
You can see the white core showing through on the red embossed paper better in this photo.
I really enjoyed working with this paper. I may make more samples...I only got the green and red papers this round...these papers come in the four color groups, just like the SU color groups - Brights, Subtles, Earth and Regal...
