Happy Tuesday! Over the weekend, while searching for cool stuff to make for April's class, I stumbled upon a really cool card made by Dawn Griffith over at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. She has the best video tutorials! Anyway, as I was searching her site and spent some time viewing tutorials, I just had to make this double slider card!! I ended up making several, and here is one of them! This one is a birthday card. I used this cute bunny image from The Greetings Farm (formerly Pink Poison), so cute!

Here's how the card opens up...so cool how the insides pop out from the top and bottom!! The secret to the sliding mechanism? A strip cut out from a grocery bag! Want to make one?? Check out Dawn's video tutorial here!
I'm off today to take mom shopping for shoes and clothes since dad is not a fan of shopping. Have a wonderful Tuesday and thanks for coming by because your visits makes me smile!
Supplies:
Stamps: Lucky Bunny (The Greetings Farm), On Your Birthday (SU)
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun, Close to Cocoa, Choc Chip
DP: Unknown
Accessories: copic pens, stickles, 1 3/8", 1 1/4" circle punches, dimensionals, jumbo eyelet

Dawn's tutorials are great - have fun shopping too.
Aloha Teri!
Too funny, before I read your post and just looked at the pic, I thought to myself, I remember how Dawn taught me to make this years ago and how much fun it was. Then when I came back to your blog looking for your pcp link, I read it and lol, you did get from Dawn, my demonstrator! Like I said too funny! LOL!
Hugs,
Gina
Oh that's a really cute slider card! I'll have to check that out and make one too. Thanks for the link.
LOVE TGF stamps and that card is so cool - I love interactive cards!
Teri, I love this little slider, so cute! I am so jealous that you are shopping, lol! Have a great time!
Fabulous card Teri & so unique! I luv Dawn's videos!
this is so cool! I need to learn it but I'm a hands on kind of person...so I guess I have to crash your house and have some fun! ha! love the creations! keep them coming!
ps...it was from the timeless template, but for some reason when you print it, it doesn't print correctly, so you end up making your own creation!
What a cute slider card. This post along with your previous one with the twist box reminds me of how I should go back to make some of the projects that I have made in previous classes. I tend to shy away from the ones that are a little more time consuming like these two.
Have fun shopping with your mom today? Hey if I lived closer I could have gone shopping with the both of you since I have Tues. off. :)
Oh your card is fabulous Teri and love the design, the image is just so cute and beautifully coloured, love the added sparkle, Big Hugs, Nikki x
